Important factors when buying a DVC Resale contract.
- Home Resort- Buy where you want to stay and use the Home Resort Priority. Read our article Understand Your DVC Resorts.
- Use Year- buy a use year that is before you want to travel not after you travel.
- Resort Location- some families prefer to have their Home Resort near a park they like to frequent.
- Length of Deed- Deeds last for different amount of years, know what is important to you.
- Price- Set a budget and stay within it.
- Dues- Most resorts are similar in dues pricing, so don't put a huge importance on this.
- Restrictions- Know the difference in buying Resale vs Direct.
